Covenant. The binding relational structure by which God orders his dealings with humanity. The OT narrative is framed by successive covenants — Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Davidic — culminating in the New Covenant in Christ's blood (Jer 31:31; Luke 22:20).
