Suetonius, Life of Claudius 25.4 (Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus, c. AD 121). One sentence in the life of Claudius, recording the expulsion that Acts reports from the other side: Paul at Corinth "found a certain Jew named Aquila… lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome" (Acts 18:2). Two independent sources, one Roman and one Christian, describing the same imperial act.
