Samaritan Pentateuch (The Samaritan community, Textual tradition of the Second Temple period). Not a translation but a rival Hebrew text: the Torah as the Samaritans kept it, in their own script, differing from the Masoretic text in roughly six thousand places. A number of those readings agree with the Septuagint against the Masoretic text, and some turned up at Qumran — which is why a text long dismissed as sectarian revision is now evidence for how the Pentateuch actually circulated before the rabbis fixed it.
